The publishing engine behind PostAbroad (postiz.postabroad.com) is a modified version of
Postiz, licensed under the
GNU Affero General Public License v3.0. As the license requires, the complete
corresponding source of our modified version is available here at no charge.

Our modifications
All changes are applied on top of the base image by these build files. Build with
docker build -f patch.Dockerfile . in a folder containing all three files.
What they change:
- G1/G2 — a post whose outcome is unknown after a platform error is marked unconfirmed instead of being retried, to avoid duplicate posts.
- G3 — TikTok login requests only the scopes our app uses and returns to our domain.
- G4 — no duplicate “post published” email.
- G5 — sign-in pages show PostAbroad branding and this source notice; unused Google sign-in removed.
- G6 — Instagram long-lived token exchange fix.
- G7–G9 — Instagram message permission; Facebook asks only for the Page permissions we use and skips the page picker when one Page is granted.
